Aldaco’s Mexican Cuisine
Blanca Aldaco opened Zagat-rated, Aldaco’s Mexican Cuisine in 1989. Aldacao’s is now an important asset within Historic Sunset Station’s impressive portfolio of adaptable venue spaces and full-service planning and catering services. Aldaco’s main dining area was once storage spacefor the Interstate Company TheMirasol Room (Aldaco’sprivate dining room) served as the segregated waiting room before desegregation. Aldaco’s at Historic Sunset Station has grown to be a favorite destination for San Antonians eager to savor the unique Avocado Margaritas, Traditional Chicken Enchiladas and our Award winning Pastel Tres Leches. |

Historic Sunset Station
Historic Sunset Station offers 100,000 square feet of flexible, unique venue space and an “award winning” culinary and Certified Meeting Professionals team. The facility consists of ten versatile event spaces featuring The Depot, The Spire, The Crown, The Pavilion and Aldaco’s Mexican Cuisine Restaurant. Each restored location provides its own unique historic style. The Depot, with its ornate vaulted ceiling and stained glass windows, was once a stop for the famous Sunset Limited and now serves as the perfect backdrop for a formal affair. The Spire, a reopened church from the 1800s, provides flexibility for any occasion. The Crown, a refurbished three story hotel and apartment building, works perfectly for meetings or private events. For an outdoor experience, the Pavilion features plaza areas ideal for full venue buyouts.
